This week the children have had a fantastic week learning and playing together. In Phonics they have been learning the sounds n, m, d and g. They have been recognising the sounds and have been absolutely amazing at blending them into words. Wow!!

This week the children took home books with words and everyone has been outstanding at reading their books with enjoyment and enthusiasm. Very well done Little Conkers.

In Maths they have been learning to name and describe 2D shapes. We found lots of shpaes in the classroom in everyday objects and we enjoyed a shape hunt in the hall. The hall was PACKED with shapes which the children loved finding. We used the shapes when sorting, playing with the playdougha nd playing games. 

In Topic we were learning about Bonfire Night. Everyone enjoyed sharing their experiences.
